The PL6 MK2 is designed to allow control of a BBV TX1000 Matrix from 3rd party equipment that outputs BBV TX1000 control protocol but where the character pacing is too short to reliably control the matrix, eg Adpro VST10, FastScan and Fast Trace.
It can also be used if the matrix commands are sent over a computer network which compromises the character pacing.
