The converter is designed to allow control of third party domes from Sensormatic and AD control systems using RS422 telemetry. Each converter drives a single dome via either simplex 2 wire RS422 or 4 wire full-duplex RS422 depending on the specific dome protocol. An RS232 serial output is provided which allows a PC to view the telemetry that is being sent to the domes/telemetry receivers for diagnostic purposes.
