The CTI Coax Interfaces are a range of innovative products designed to provide conversion from RS422/485 data to BBV up the coax.  

Now available in a single, 8 and 16 channel version. Up the Coax telemetry allows for upgrading of static cameras to PTZ without the need for additional cabling.  The CTI’s can also be used remotely from a matrix to allow up-the-coax control from a hub point and video brought back via fibre, IP etc. 

CTI/1 - The CTI/1 is cost effective for smaller sites, where only a few cameras require coax telemetry.  The CTI/1 converts BBV RS422 and Pelco P 9600 protocol data into BBV up the coax telemetry.  The small size of the unit means it can easily fit into other enclosures already present on site.  The CTI/1 has a range of 1 – 8 addresses and is supplied with a 9V 500mA power supply.  For sites of 6+ cameras requiring coax telemetry, use the CTI/8 or CTI/16.   

CTI/8 & CTI/16 – The CTI/8 and CTI/16 have one RS422/485 input that is dipswitch selectable and can be driven from various protocols (please see the technical specification page for further information).  The Baud Rates & Parity for Pelco P/D & Vicon Protocols are variable.   Where 8 or 16 individual outputs are provided, each output connects to a single receiver.  Each unit is supplied with a break out box and 0.5m Cat 6 patch cable. Multiple CTI Coax Interfaces can be used together giving up to 256 camera outputs.
